Sunday Photo Fiction is a weekly writing challenge where a photo is used as a prompt for a piece of fiction using around 200 words. The piece doesn’t have to centre around exactly what the photo is, it can be just used as a basis for a story. This week’s photo is a rose bud. I have been putting off using this one for several weeks, it keeps moving further and further back, so thought it was about time I used it. You can use the image in any way you see fit in your story.

If you have the time, please read some of the other stories that have been written via the InLinkz page below. Remember though, the main thing is to have fun, enjoy what you write, and write what you enjoy.

  1. Alastair — How would you like me (us) to credit your photos in our posts? I’m not sure whether to use your name, or “A Mixed Bag”, and/or if there’s a link you’d like me to use for it, other than this Sunday Fiction one (e.g., to A Mixed Bag?)

  2. It’s been ages since I’ve participated in Sunday Photo Fiction, but as someone once said, “I’m baaaa-aack.” Don’t ask me who said it, I haven’t got a clue 😀

    1. Haha 🙂 Cool. I am going through the links now. I think I am going to have ease off on what I am doing as I am finding little time for the book. I wrote my first one since January last week as well.
