The idea of Sunday Photo Fiction is to create a story / poem or something using around about 200 words with the photo as a guide. It doesn’t have to be centre stage in the story, I have seen some where the placement is so subtle, the writer states where it is.
Once you have written and posted your story, please add the link to the little froggy below so that it is added to the collection and we can all have a read.
The main object is to have fun.

Thank you. I was very worried about posting this one. I tried to use one that didn’t have the slogans on it so it could be used for almost anything.

Not to worry, anyone who knows you also knows that the politics of hate are not for you.
Strong prompt, well done.

I’m not sure what’s going on in this picture, but is it an anti-immigration rally perhaps? Just guessing from the flags and shirts.

Spot on. They do it every few weeks. I don’t like it, but that’s my view. We live in a world of free speech though, and everyone is entitled to have their say, unless their say is to shut up other people which kind of defeats the object lol

I had no idea of the political nature of the photograph — other than something that needed police escort. Reading folks stories, it became clearer. I still wrote political — just a slightly different way.

I did like the way you told yours. The stakes are so much higher in those games of football.

I found the subject of this photo prompt challenging, but I still wanted to have a go. It’s fascinating to look at how others have approached it.

It was a prompt that I wasn’t sure whether or not to use as I wasn’t sure how people were going to take it. I am pleased it turned out so well.
