Sunday Photo Fiction – July 26th 2015

Sunday Photo Fiction is a weekly writing challenge where a photo is used as a prompt for a piece of fiction using around 200 words. The piece doesn’t have to centre around exactly what the photo is, it can be just used as a basis. For example, this week’s photo is the statue of a pilot at a Battle of Britain memorial in Capel le Ferne in the UK, but you can use it as the statue of some random passerby who did something miraculous and was immortalised in stone. Or even just as a description of something in the background
