Every week on a Sunday, a new photo is used as a prompt for Flash Fiction challenge using around 200 words based on that image. Your story does not have to be exactly what the item in the photo is as long as there is at least a reference to it. You can make it anything you want, and enjoy what you write, and we will as well.

Hello all! This is a brief introduction and bio from your new host, Joe Owens. When I found out Al was wanting to step away I thought about what established opportunities like Sunday Photo Fiction and others mean not to the supporting bloggers but to the blogging community as a whole. In just three years on WordPr ess I have seen several fine chance to stretch our writing legs fall asunder and was determined to do what I could to buoy this one.
As any of you who have been around for a spell already know Al’s excellence with this weekly invitational to create a story with 200 words or less has been a rousing success, binding folks from around this big ol’ world in a common crusade, great fiction. I plan to give it my level best to meet his lofty standard. With that promise I ask you to offer any suggestions you have in how we can attract more people. Currently i take part in a similar opportunity called Friday Fictioneers that sports 100 authors each week. Perhaps we can get some cross promotion started.
Lastly a quick set of bio facts. I am married (23 years) father of a boy and girl and the proud owner of four novels (none published yet, but 2015 is looking really promising!). My love of writing is rivaled only by my wish to serve Christ and grow beautiful flowers and vegetables. I look forward to beginning the next 100 SPF and holding the fort until Al returns. Thanks for being here and I look forward to your stories.

The prompt will go out after this at the same time Al’s did. We had a rusty hand off and I tried to do it last night but our communication was delayed. The schedule feature is a favorite tool of mine.

Joe, I can’t tell you how much I appreciate you taking over the helm. We will miss Al but he has left us in capable hands. The writers here have become a circle of friends and I would surely miss them if this fell to the way side. Welcome oh captain my captain.

As I told Al it will be here until either the next 100 complete and another new host emerges or Al decides to return. I simply wanted to maintain the opportunity. You know that Friday Fictioneers is with its second hostess, the venerable Rochelle Wisoff-Fields. Sometimes managing a franchise is bigger than the sum of the parts.

Welcome Joe! I too host a writing challenge called Mondays Finish the Story! One way to increase readership/writers is to go out to posts like Friday Fictioneers and write comments to the writers there about their stories and invite them to this one. Please feel free to do the same on my blog too. Have fun with this challenge! It is addicting! 🙂 Be well… ^..^

Yes I planned to do some of that. I am also going to take part in the A to Z April challenge doing a different 300-350 word flash fiction each day based on a prompt provided by an editor friend of mine and will cross-promote Friday Fictioneers, Sunday Photo Fiction and Yours through that if you like.

I think he is concentrating on his book. I haven’t added to the vamp piece in a long while. I think I’m up to date on his latest additions. But I’m not sure. I still have that page in my Flash Fiction blog.
I’ve been kind of busy – During the school year I watch my grandchildren. I generally write verse, short and long. But I expanded… 😉

Joe, Joyroses13 is having problems linking her post to InLinkz. Is there any chance you can go in and delete the false links that are in there now? I tried putting it in for her but it wouldn’t allow me. I don’t know if it is because I tried using my email address or the linking is messed up because of those that have been entered.
