Sunday Photo Fiction: June 29th 2014

I want to start by apologizing for an error I made last week. I stated that on the post box, GR was for George Regina. This is in fact incorrect. Regina refers to the female monarch, so GR actually stands for George REX. I do apologise for misleading people. I am so used to seeing Elizabeth Regina, that I automatically associate any monarch symbols with it. I will endeavour not to make a mistake like that again.

This week’s photo was inspired by my daughter. We were at the Natural History Museum, and she said to me “Why don’t you set your camera to an open shutter so you can have blurs of people going up the escalator into the planet construction and use it for your Sunday Photo Fiction Challenge?”. So this week’s photo is a two second open shutter of the escalator going into the planet construction in the Natural History Museum.

The idea is to use the photo as a prompt for a Flash Fiction challenge using around 200 words based on that image. Your story does not have to be exactly what the item in the photo is as long as there is at least a reference to it. You can make it anything you want, and enjoy what you write, and we will as well.

Please remember to add your piece to the list of others by clicking on the little creature, and you can also add the creature to your own post by clicking on the link beneath it. Have fun, and I look forward to reading what you have written.

  1. AnElephantCant pretend he’s on message
He always starts off with a plan yet
    He does try his best
    To behave as Al’s guest
But inevitably wanders off at a tangent

Cool pic, Al, not your fault!
