I hope you all had a good New Year and didn’t get too drunk. I also hope that 2014 will be the greatest of your years so far. Or as the Scottish toast says “May the best you’ve ever seen be the worst you’ll ever see”.

Sunday Photo Fiction is a weekly Flash Fiction prompt based on the photo supplied below. If you wish to take part, the idea is to write a piece of fiction of around 100-200 words (usually called flash fiction)
