I want to say welcome to the people who have joined from blogger. I never thought that this would leave WordPress, so I am grateful that you have decided to join us, and I look forward to reading more and more stories.
Sunday Photo Fiction is a weekly Flash Fiction prompt based on the photo supplied below. If you wish to take part, the idea is to write a piece of fiction of around 100-200 words (usually called flash fiction)
Once you have written your story, please click on the blue creature below to add your story to the list. If you see other people’s faces there, then take a peek at their story and pop them a like a bit of feedback. It’s always nice to hear what other people think of your stories.

This image reminds me of a famous story in Jersey (where I am from).
Years ago a gorilla, named Jambo, did something highly unexpected. He protected a young boy who fell into the enclosure.
I can’t write about it, because then it isn’t fiction! But, I wanted to share it with you:

I remember reading about that. Or seeing it on the TV, or both. It was incredible

We had a family membership for the Wildlife Preserve, and we went all the time. They erected a monument for Jambo after he died 🙂

That’s fantastic. So glad they did. Shows that not all animals are … animals.
